Will many of the same “Swift Boaters” who went after John Kerry be after McCain in 2008?

McCain should be wary, many of the same Swift Boat people may be after him soon, most people think they just hated Kerry for the anti-war stuff, and that was a big part of it, but it was also in large part the committee that Kerry and McCain co-chaired in the early 90s which controversially reported that there were no more American POW/MIAs in Vietnam and basically gave Clinton the go-ahead to normalize relations. Without the Kerry/McCain committee that wouldn’t have happened.

As much as I do believe that the GOP funded these groups, I don’t think they had a real interest in re-electing George W. Bush, rather, they hated Kerry and were indifferent to Bush, and this time, many of them would hate McCain and be indifferent to Hillary and Obama
