Rashless itch, waking and keeping me up at night?

so, for the past month, ive had itch.
no redness
no bumps
no nothing
just horridly horrible horror itch fits, that wake me up at night
they happen in the middle of the day too.
ive tried, lotion for dry skin.
oatmeal baths
4 different kinds of anti-itch cream
benadryl (brand name and 3 generics, 1 was liquid)
switching bath wash and shampoo
switching detergent
changing sheets
sleeping on a different bed
blah blah blah
nothings working…… last night i was up the itching fit on my arms and stomach, i look like ive been put through a paper shredder and pulled out. its hidious, bruises and cuts all over my arms. its just….nasty to look at, i went to the ER last night wen my mum heard me crying, they couldnt find anything wrong. but ik theres sumthing wrong. help me!!!

Itching without any visible skin signs at all requires a work up to make sure that you don’t have any problems with: your red blood cells, your liver, your kidneys, your blood sugar levels and calcium levels, any malignancy, especially a lymphoma, any drugs that you might be taking, any ectoparasites (such as body lice, etc), and any psychiatric problems. Hopefully, your workup at the ER included all of these. If not, they need to be done.
