What exactly is a Kevlar stock, is it just the same as a synthetic stock?
Or is a Kevlar stock just a better synthetic then what remington use on there M700 XCR rifles.

most synthetic stocks are plastic…a compound derived from oil. These special compounds are extracted, and then extruded or melted and poured into forms to get what you want. Often fiberous materials are added to give it more strength.
Kevlar is a very specific ‘plastic’ that is synthesized into single long fibers. These long fibers are then woven together to create a cloth. These cloths are then glued together. Given the same weight restrictions, something made of kevlar is going to be a lot stronger than conventional plastics.
